Established in 1900 by Italian immigrants in the mining sector on Vancouver Island, Cavallotti Lodge has evolved to become a vibrant and inclusive community space in Nanaimo, British Columbia.
This version of the Cavallotti Lodge was opened in 1969. As of 2026, the building will undergo a new construction and we look forward to returning to being a treasured space within Nanaimo.
Located at 2060 E Wellington Rd in Nanaimo, BC since 1969, the Felice Cavallotti Lodge, originally founded in 1900 holds a rich history, both a celebration of Italian culture, sport, games, and food, and also a landmark space that is welcoming and open to everyone.
The mission of the Cavallotti Lodge is to provide its members with a place to gather, a place to display its history, and to continue Italian traditions. The Cavallotti Lodge also provides an environment that is welcoming to all ages, as well as our wider community.
